Our Proven 5-Step Slab Process

1. Site Prep & Excavation

We start by assessing grade, soil compaction, and drainage needs. Our team handles all excavation and base work to ensure:

• Proper elevation and slope
• Load-bearing sub-base with compacted gravel
• Formwork that’s square, level, and precise

2. Reinforcement

Depending on the application, we use:

• Steel rebar grid or wire mesh
• Optional fiber mesh in the mix
• Thicker slabs (typically 5"–6") for garages or hot tubs

This prevents cracking, resists shifting, and ensures the slab can handle weight and weather.

3. Pour & Finish

We use premium concrete mixes rated for freeze-thaw durability and finish the slab based on your needs:

• Broom finish for slip resistance (e.g., spas, sheds)
• Power-troweled smooth finish for interior-ready garage pads

All control joints are saw-cut to minimize cracking while maintaining clean lines.

4. Curing & Sealing

We cure all slabs for maximum strength and apply sealants if required for water resistance or surface protection (especially for spa or exposed pads).

5. Inspection & Handover

Before we leave the site, we check for flatness, level, drainage slope (if needed), and ensure the slab is ready for whatever comes next—hot tub install, framing, or equipment placement.
